The Beginning of Us

We met in the fall of 2020, during our Military Advanced Training School, right after basic training. Our class was small—just 12 of us—and the days were long and intense. From early morning PT sessions at 0500 to attending classes and labs, and sharing meals together, we became a close-knit group. Training had a way of stripping us down to our rawest selves, pushing us to our limits in a high-pressure environment. But in the midst of it all, David and I found something truly special—a beautiful friendship, full of laughter.
